Creating custom fill templates makes sense if the text is formed from several fields and sorting occurs by these fields in a sequence different from their order (for example, sort by the third field, then sort by the first field, and then sort by the second field).

It should also be noted that when creating a BOM object, the text formed from a template can only be placed in one column. We recommend placing it in the column that is included in sorting.

A fill template is created based on a table–type attribute with a fixed number of rows (one row).

Each text (or number) field in the template (including fields for separators and constant values) corresponds to an attribute column.

For each column (and therefore for each template field), you can set the fill rules (value type, range or list of values, default value).

The order of the fields that should be sorted is determined by the values of the keys of these fields.

The values of the field keys should increase in the order of fields sorting. They may not have a continuous numbering.

The text generated from the attribute (record) won’t be sorted in fields with zero key values.

Text in other fields will be sorted by keys in ascending order (first by the field with the smallest key value, then by the field with the next smallest key, and so on, until the field with the maximum key value).

In order for an attribute type to be used as a template when filling in any column of a BOM section, the attribute key combination must match the combination specified when this column was configured in this BOM section, and the attribute type must be included in the library specified when setting the column in the BOM section.

In order for the fill template to be available when creating an item in the Standard items section of Simple and Group BOMs, the attribute containing this template must be in the Spc.lat system library and should have the keys of 100, 5, 1.

In order for the fill template to be available when creating an item in the Materials section of the Simple and Group BOMs, the attribute containing this template must be in the Spc.lat system library and should have keys of 100, 7, 1.
