Please note some methods of creating fill templates.

A fixed part of a designation (e.g., GOST or M) can be located in a separate field. For different separators (dashes, fractional characters, multiplication signs, etc.), a separate field is also highlighted. These fields are not used for sorting.

The standard number can be divided into two parts, if standards sorting by years is required.

If possible, use lists of valid field values and set the most common of them as a default value. In this way you will speed up the entry of values in the field and at the same time reduce the likelihood of typos.

If the value in the field is constant (for example, separator or GOST abbreviation), create a list of valid values consisting of this single value. This will avoid errors associated with accidental editing of the value in the field.

If sorting other than alphabetical is required in any string field, set it as follows. Specify a list of rows for filling this field, arrange them in the desired order and activate the logging of the values order.

When creating new attribute types use prototypes whenever possible. After creating a new attribute type based on prototype, edit its parameters: enter new column names, change fill lists and value ranges. Check if the field keys match the desired sorting sequence.
