When working on a drawing, designers often use various auxiliary constructions (similar to constructions in thin lines on a drawing board).

In KOMPAS-3D, various options for constructing infinite lines are provided. For them the Construction line style is used which cannot be changed. This style can be also assigned to any geometric object during its creation or editing. Points may have the Construction style as well (it is the very style that is used for points by default).

When working with a fragment, to clear it from already unneeded auxiliary constructions, invoke the Drawing – Delete Construction Curves and Points command. All the curves and points which have the Construction style, as well as construction straight lines, will be deleted from the fragment.

When working with a drawing, you use the Drawing – Delete Construction Curves and Points and Drawing – Delete construction geometry in all views. Thus you can delete objects of the construction style from the current view only or from all the views of the drawing at once.
