Setting line thickness |

When exporting, you can propagate the data on the line thickness to the resulting document. To do that, please enable the Account for line thickness setting in the Lines group on the Properties page.
The line thickness values configured in KOMPAS-3D for printing, are recorded to DXF or DWG files.
In AutoCAD, line thickness may only have certain values from 0 to 2.11 mm.
KOMPAS lines thinner than 2.11 mm are converted to lines with thickness as close to original as possible.
KOMPAS lines thicker than 2.11 mm may be converted to polylines. In AutoCAD, thickness of polylines, as opposed to geometric objects, may exceed 2.11 mm, so this conversion allows to retain the line thickness set in the KOMPAS document.
If you want to export all objects with line thickness over 2.11 mm as polylines, please enable the Transform lines more than 2.11 mm thick to polylines setting (this setting is available if the Account for line thickness setting is enabled).
If the Transform lines more than 2.11 mm thick to polylines setting is disabled, all objects with lines thicker than 2.11 mm are exported without conversion, that is, as regular geometric objects. Lines of all these objects will have the same thickness of 2.11 mm, which is the maximum permitted thickness for these objects.
If the Account for line thickness setting is disabled, the values of the KOMPAS-3D line thickness are not exported to the DXF or DWG file. In this case, all the lines in the resulting document will have the same default AutoCAD thickness.
