Deleting a layer |

To delete a layer, select it in the Document tree and invoke the Delete command from the context menu, or press the <Delete> key.
The layer is deleted with all objects located on it. Therefore, if the deleted layer contains objects, a message of that appears on the screen. You may confirm the deletion, or cancel it.

Deletion of the current and system layers is impossible. |
