Straight lines displayed in the view ports (and limited by these view ports) are converted into segments showing the visible portions of these straight lines. In all other cases, straight lines are saved as straight lines.
AutoCAD multi-leaders are converted into KOMPAS-3D leaders under the following conditions:
•a multi-leader has no more than one landing,
•the multi-leader landing dimension is equal to the distance from the landing start to the text set in the KOMPAS document (in KOMPAS-3D this value is set at document setup and applies to all leaders existing in it; in case of import into a new document, check settings of the new documents; in case of import to the current document, check settings of the current document),
•type of text attachment to the multi-leader is "Horizontal",
•multi-leader text is single-line with any type of alignment or multi-line with one of the following types of alignment:
•"Center" – the text will be placed behind the leader landing in the KOMPAS document,
•"Underline first row" – the first line will be placed above the leader landing, and other lines below the leader landing in the KOMPAS document,
•"Underline last row" – the text will be placed above the leader landing in the KOMPAS document.
It at least one of these conditions is not met, the multi-leader will be exported as a macro object.
DXF and DWG documents may contain PROXY objects. Some of the elements within these object cannot be imported into KOMPAS-3D.
If an imported document contains a PROXY object with one or more unreadable elements, a dialog box will appear: Some PROXY-objects from this file cannot be read completely. Continue reading?"
To continue reading, click Yes. All objects of the document except for the PROXY objects with unreadable elements will be imported (including the PROXY objects with readable elements).
To cancel reading, click nan.
