Placing instances inside a concentric grid |
Scroll |
Instances of an array by concentric grid can be shifted for a half-pitch in circular or radial direction.
To choose instance placement option, expand the Additional parameters section and press the corresponding button in the Scheme button group. Possible placement options are listed in the table.

Standard |
Array instances are located without shift relative to grid nodes. |

|
Staggered order – shift along circular direction |
Instances of circular rows are shifted relative to grid nodes along circular direction. Shift value is equal to half of arc length between adjacent grid nodes. Shift is performed in each even row in the direction of instance building. The first row is the row that contains the instance with number (1, 1). |

|
Staggered order – shift along radial direction |
Instances of radial rows are shifted relative to grid nodes along the ray for a half-pitch. Shift is performed in each even row in the direction of instance building. The first row is the row that contains the instance with number (1, 1). |
|
|
When laying out instances in staggered order, position of base instance is not changed. |
|
Staggered order instance placement options are useful only when there are two or more instances on both directions. |
