General information on hyperlinks |

In graphic documents of KOMPAS-3D, it is possible to create hyperlinks.
A hyperlink is a link between objects that allows you to jump from one object to another.
A hyperlink cannot exist in the document "by itself" (i.e., separately from objects), so it is added to an existing object and becomes one of its properties. To create a hyperlink means to indicate the object that will contain the hyperlink, and the object to which the transition will be made ( target object).
The transition to the target object occurs after hyperlink activation. By default, to activate a hyperlink, you should click on the object containing it while holding down the <Alt> key. The activation method can be changed when you setting up hyperlinks.
Hyperlinks can be added to the following objects:
•geometric objects;
•sizes;
•designations;
•embedded views and fragments;
•macro-elements, including library macro-elements;
•tables and texts.
Target objects can be the following objects:
•file, folder or webpage;
•place in the current document;
•e-mail address.
One object can contain only one hyperlink. In one graphic document there can be several objects with hyperlinks.
The hyperlink in place in the document is internal. Navigating the internal link is carried out to the area of the same document – for example, the area where the view, text, or leader element is located. The remaining hyperlinks are external. When you click an external link, a file, folder, web page or email window opens.
