Moving a sheet |
Scroll |
You can move the document sheet in the print field using the following methods:
•using arrow keys,
•by setting the coordinates of the base point of the image,
•using your mouse:
•freely,
•with binding to the page node,
•with binding to the corner of another sheet.
When you use arrow keys, the sheet is moved by one step each time you press a key. To adjust the length of the steps, please enter or select the required value in the Current cursor pitch list on the toolbar panel.
After you've moved the boundary frame to the required position, please fix it in the new place by pressing <Enter>. The image will be redrawn according to the new position of the sheet in the print field.
You can set the exact position of the sheet by entering the coordinates of its base point in the respective fields of the Parameter Toolbar. The origin of the coordinate system is the left bottom corner of the print page. The base point of the sheet is its bottom left corner. The designation of the coordinate axes is located in this point. It is displayed for convenience only, it isn’t printed.
Please note that you need to confirm each entered coordinate value by pressing <Enter>.

You can only enter positive values into X an Y fields. Negative values would mean that a part of the sheet would be located outside the printable area. |
You can use free placement in the print field when you need to print a document with large fields. If you use placement with binding to corners, you'll be able to save paper by printing sheets side by side or as close as possible to the edge of the paper. Methods for moving the sheet with the mouse (freely and with binding) are described in detail below.
