Control of visibility of dimensions and designations |
Scroll |
Labeled dimensions and designations can sometimes prevent viewing the images of model. If necessary, you can make invisible both separate detailing objects and all the conventional symbols of the model. The dimension also becomes hidden if one of its objects to which it was labeled is hidden.
To hide an object, select it in the Design Tree or in the graphic area of the model and click the Visible
icon in this object's row in the Design Tree. The icon will change to Hidden
. The object will no longer be displayed in the graphic range, while its name and icon in the Design Tree will be shaded.
To hide all dimensions or designations, expand the menu of the Hide all auxiliary objects
button on Quick Access Toolbar and invoke the Dimensions
or Annotations
command, respectively. These commands are also contained in the View – Hide menu.

Hidden dimensions and designations are transferred to the associative views of the drawing of model, but are not displayed on the screen. If necessary, they can be made visible using the View – Show Hidden Designations command. |
