Scroll

Allows you to set the default tolerance for linear, diametrical, or radial dimensions.

The dialog is invoked by clicking the button in the Value and state of tolerances by default dialog, which is called by the Settings command, and then selecting  — Parameters.... — Current documentDimensionsTolerances and limit valuesDefault tolerances.

The element

Description

Tolerance class

The field displays the tolerance class specified for the dimension. This field is not available for manual entry. The icon in the right part of the field allows you to delete the selected tolerance class.

If the field has a red frame and an icon inside it, it means that the selected class does not exist or is not used for this dimension. You cannot complete creating or editing the dimension — a message appears about the erroneous tolerance class. Enter an appropriate tolerance class or clear the field.

Reference

The button allows you to select the tolerance class. Calls a special dialog Tolerance class.

Upper deviation/Lower deviation

Fields Upper deviation and Lower deviation are used  to specify the values of linear dimension deviations." Values can be set manually or obtained automatically if a tolerance class is selected for the dimension. When deviations are entered manually, the tolerance class selection is canceled (the Tolerance Class field becomes empty).

Make deviations equal

The button can be used to make deviations equal in magnitude and opposite in sign.

After pressing the button, a '+' sign is placed before the value of the upper deviation, and a '-' sign is placed before the value of the lower deviation; the value of one of the deviations is transferred to the other:

if the cursor is placed in one of the deviation fields, the value of this field will be transferred,

if the cursor is not placed in either field, the value of the upper deviation will be transferred.

After setting the tolerance, close the dialog by clicking the Apply button. To exit the dialog without changing the tolerance, click the Cancel button.
