Setting up the draw of elements of background layers of a drawing is performed in the Draw layersdialog. The dialog appears on the screen after fetching the Settings — Parameters... — System — Graphic Editor — Layers command or call the Draw Layers... command from the button menu 
in the Document Tree header (see section... Graphic Document Tree).

Background Layers |
The window is used for viewing the appearance of the object being configured. That allows to estimate the changes made. |

Thickness |
The field allows to set the desirable thickness (in pixels) for the image of an object on the screen. The value in the field is entered manually or is set using a counter. The field is available for the Solid line style. |

Line |
The group of options allows to select the line style for displaying the background layers. To select the style, enable the respective matching option – Solid, Dashed, or Dots. |

Color... |
The button allows to set the color of displaying background layers. Fetches a standard color selection dialog. |
Having completed setup of the parameters for drawing layers, press the OK button. Click Cancel to discard all changes and close the dialog box.
