Including and setting up the division of the current drawing into zones is carried out in the Drawing Zoning dialog, which is called by the Setup — Parameters… command. — Current drawing — Document parameters — Split into zones.
The dialog allows to enable the drawing zoning mode, set the dimensions of these zones and their designations.

Enable on the zones |
The option allows to activate drawing zoning and to configure the zoning parameters. By default, the option is disabled and all the controls of the dialog are unavailable. |

Zoning Rectangle... |
The button allows to fetch a dialog for setting dimensions of zones. In fields of the dialog that appeared, enter the values of height and width of zones, or select these values from dropdown lists. While performing the drawing zoning, the orientation of the zoning rectangle is ignored: the side of sheet is divided by the length of that side of rectangle which the maximum times fits into the length of this side of sheet. |

Labels |
The group of elements controls labeling the designations of zones on a drawing sheet and setup of their parameters. |
|
Use |
The group of options allows to label designations of zones over the vertical and/or horizontal of a drawing sheet. With these options enabled, available become the respective elements for setting up the zone designation parameters. |

Text Type |
The dropdown list allows to select symbols for designation of zones (the Arabic or Roman number, characters of the Russian or Latin alphabets). |
|
Start from |
The field allows to enter or set – using a counter – the digit or the number of a character with which a row of designations will start. |
|
Direction |
The group of options allows to select a variant of direction of labeling the designations: •bottom up, •top down, •left to right, •right to left. |

The text is always horizontal |
The option allows to place horizontally all the symbols of zone designations. |

Font... |
The button allows to configure the settings of font of zone designations in the standard font setup dialog. |
|
Line Type |
The dropdown list allows to select the line type to drawing the borders of zones. |
|
Zone designation field width, mm |
The dropdown list allows to select the value of width for the field of zone designation (in millimeters). |

Place Outside Internal Page Boundary |
The option allows to place the field for zone designation outside the internal page boundary. If the option is disabled, the field of zone designation will be located inside the internal frame. |
On completion of the set-up, press the OKbutton. Parameters of drawing zoning will change as per the setup performed.
Click Cancel to discard all changes and close the dialog box.
The setting of zoning options is stored in the drawing itself and will not change when transferred to another workplace.
