Errors that occur when replacing the mockup file or the original component file

Scroll

Matings overlaid on the mockup component fail and are noted in the Design Tree as erroneous in the following cases:

when you select another original component file, if the mating is created before the component is replaced with the mockup – in this case, the component object used in the mating is lost,

when you select another mockup file, if the mating is created after the component is replaced with the mockup – in this case, the mockup object used in the mating is lost.

In other cases the mating remains operational. For example, replacing a mockup file does not affect the performance of the mating, if it is overlaid on the original component (that is, it was created before the component was replaced by the mockup).

The model may contain not only matings but also operations using objects of the mockup component. These operations also become erroneous in cases described above.
