Description

List of commands

The list of system commands for KOMPAS-3D contains the following information:

•the name of the command;

•an icon corresponding to the command (if there is no icon, the first letters of the first two words of the command name are shown instead);

•a brief description of the command purpose;

•The keyboard shortcut assigned to the command by the user or by default (if any); the icon to the right of the shortcut means that it cannot be changed or assigned to another command.

The set of commands in the list depends on the selected application area (see below).

When you select a line in the list, a field for entering a key shortcut appears on the right side of the line.

If the selected command has a default key shortcut and this shortcut is changed, then in the bottom part of the dialog the Return value to default is displayed, which allows to return to using the default key shortcut for the command.

List of sets of commands

This list contains variants of the command application areas, e.g., Three-dimensional modeling, Drafting and others.

The set of commands displayed in the dialog depends on which variant is selected: For example, if you choose the Drawing option, the dialog will show the commands to construct a graphical image in the drawing/fragment.

Variant All commands allows displaying all commands in the dialog, including those that are not included in any other sets, such as Print Filters, Show all, etc.

Search line

The search line allows you to quickly find of a desired command by its name or by the keyboard shortcut assigned to the command. The characters included in the name are entered on the left side of the search bar, and the keyboard shortcut — on the right side.

If you want to find a command by its description, click the Filters button , and then — Command Description. In this case, for the characters specified on the left side of the search bar, the search will be performed both in the names and descriptions of commands.

If necessary, you may leave only those the commands in the list the keyboard shortcuts for which cannot be changed. To do this, with the Filters button pressed, select the System commands option. In the list of system commands, search by name, description, or key shortcut is also available.

Please note that filtering and search for commands are performed in the list limited to the selected application area.

Print

This button is used to print the list of commands with the assigned keyboard shortcuts. Only commands from the current set which is displayed in the dialog according to the selected command application area are printed.
