Linear surfaces are created by moving a segment in the defined direction. Initial position and movement parameters for the segment are defined by model objects (curves and/or surfaces), selected by user. KOMPAS-3D supports the following methods for linear surfaces creation:
Linear surface by curve and direction,
Linear surface by curve and surface,
Linear surface on a curve with a tangent to the surface,
Linear surface by two surfaces.
