Technical specifications in a model

Scroll

You can enter technical specifications to a model. It allows to provide full information needed for manufacturing of the product. Technical specifications are considered a part of a model. They are provided as a text object to which all the general principles of working with text in KOMPAS documents are applied.

For technical specifications, you can display them in the graphic area, print out, transfer to an associative drawing. After being exported to the drawing, the technical specifications become part of the drawing and can be arbitrarily edited and moved. At the same time, the technical specifications in the model and the drawing are coordinated: at the user’s discretion changes to the technical specifications in the model can be exported to the drawing.

The technical specification text parameters for the current document can be changed in the Technical specifications, called by the command Settings – Parameters... — Current part (assembly) — Specifications.

Technical specifications for components are not displayed in the model that includes them. You can view or edit the technical specifications of a component in the edit mode on separate tab or in place.
