Data file is a file containing numeric values that can be used as parameters of points or array instance variables.
Data files can have the following formats and corresponding extensions:
•text, txt,
•text table, csv,
•MS Excel spreadsheet, xls,
•Open Office spreadsheet, ods (writing to and reading of such files is possible when the software, such as OpenOffice or LibreOffice suite, is installed).
When working in KOMPAS-3D, it is possible both to write data to a file, and to read data from a file.
