Assigning values to properties created from variables |

A property of a model created from a variable receives the value of this variable. To learn about creating properties from variables, see section Properties Created on the Basis of Variables.
You can change the property value using the methods provided for document properties. For this purpose you can use the Parameter Toolbar controls (see section Working with properties on the Parameters Panel) or the Property Editor.
Note that a property value can only be edited if the value of the variable from which the property was created is set as a number. If the value is set as a constant, expression or link to an external file variable, then it cannot be changed. Values of properties created from information variables or from variables to which the Read Only constraint is applied cannot be changed either.
