Automatic export
When you run automatic export (see Section General export process). The current file serves as the source file for the export command, and specifying the resulting file and its location is done in the file save dialog.
Manual export
When you run the export command manually (see Section General export process) The selection of the source and resulting files is made on the File page of the recording setup dialog.
To save the active document in the selected format, please enable the Current setting. You can also export a previously created document or a group of documents. To do that, click Source file.

You can export the following KOMPAS documents to DXF and DWG: fragments (*.frw), drawings (*.cdw), bills of materials (*.spw). |
By default, the exported file is saved into the same folder as the original document, and has the same name. For example, if you export the Reductor.cdw located in the C:\Work folder to the to DWG format, the system will automatically create the Reductor.dwg file in the same folder.
To select another folder for the export results, click the Save to file link. In the dialog box that appears, please select the folder you need , then select any *.dxf or *.dwg file inside this folder. You can also enter a name of a non-existing file in the File Name field. If you do it, a new file of the required format will be created with the specified name.
