Selection of font and setting its parameters |

Standard drawing fonts are used to create various kinds of design and technological documentation, which are drawn up in accordance with the requirements of the ESCD (they are used in the text styles supplied with the system). And for artistic design of posters, brochures and other similar materials you can choose fonts of various styles.
Since KOMPAS-3D is oriented mainly to the production of technical documentation, the setting of text parameters is somewhat different from that used in universal word processors.
The main difference is the assignment of character height, spacing and line spacing in millimeters rather than in points (points), as is common in drawings.
In the text mode, the name of the current font and an example of its lettering are displayed in the corresponding fields of the Parameters panel.
To set font parameters, use the Font parameters... 
command.
After fetching a command from the menu (context menu), the screen displays a dialog allowing to set parameters of the current font.

On setting up the font parameters on the Parameters panel in the Symbol group:
•select the font name in the Typeface field,
•specify the method for drawing symbols in the Typeface group of elements,
•set the color of symbols in the Color field,
•in the Height and Width fields, set the symbol sizes.
The font parameters set by you will be used on entry of text until you change them.
