Object coordinate system — coordinate system, relative to which the position and/or orientation of the object is specified.

The coordinate system is used when constructing objects of the following types:

•A 3D point, including a reference and connection point, and a group of points,

•3D curve,

•LSC,

•Sketch,

•The operation of changing the position of a body or surface,

•Hole, including hole in sheet metal body,

•Some surfaces (imported surface, point network surface, etc.),

•Elementary solids,

•Zone.

The coordinate system of the object is selected during its construction using the Coordinate system section of the Parameters panel. If necessary, the object can be moved from its coordinate system to another one. To do this, enter the object editing and select another coordinate system using elements of the Coordinate system section.

If an object is built in local coordinate system instead of absolute one, the icon of this object is marked in the Design tree with the icon .
