To choose the spiral building method, press the corresponding button in the Building methods group in the Spiral section on the Parameters panel (see table):

By number of revolutions and height |
Assign the number of revolutions of the spiral in the field Number of revolutions (the number of revolutions can be non-integer). Assign the spiral height. |

By step and height |
Assign the spiral step in the Step field. Assign the spiral height. |

Assign the number of revolutions of the spiral in the field Number of revolutions (the number of revolutions can be non-integer). Assign the spiral pitch in the Step field. |

By number of revolutions and step button is absent in the group when building a flat conical spiral (see section below). To return the button to the Parameters panel, it is available to assign the height of the spiral other than zero. |
Plotting a flat conical spiral
It is available to build a flat conical spiral. To do this, when assigning the spiral height Select a method By distance 
and specify a zero height value. The step of the spiral will be laid in the base plane, not perpendicular to it.
