Adding and deleting points |
Scroll |
When creating 3D spline, spline on surface or broken line delete specified points and add new ones to existing parts of the curve (segments of the broken line). These actions are performed in the editing mode.
To add a point to a segment of a curve (broken line), use the buttons above the Point parameters table. To do this, select a point to add the new point to, and then click the corresponding button. A new point will appear in the graphic area, and a row with its parameters will appear in the point parameters table.
For description of buttons, see the table.

Description |

Insert vertex before current one |
Allows you to add a point between the current point and the previous point. The new point gets the number of the current point and the numbers of the subsequent points are incremented by one. |
|
Duplicate vertex |
You can add a new point with the same coordinates (and with the same weight, for a spline by poles) as the current point. The new point gets the number of the current point, and numbers of consecutive points are incremented by 1. |
|
Insert vertex after current one |
You can add a point between he current point and the next point. The new point gets the number next to the number of the current point, and numbers of consecutive points are incremented by 1. |
Deleting points
To delete a point, select it in the graphics area or in the table of point parameters and press the Delete
button above the table or the <Delete> key . Similarly, you can delete several points at once by selecting their rows in the table.
After deleting the points, the object is rebuilt according to the position of the remaining points.
