Numbering of objects in Design tree

In the Model Design Tree, a number of objects are assigned numbers. Operations, sketches, arrays, macroelements, copies of geometry, contextual links are numbered (subordinate objects — array instances, spline vertices, etc. — do not have numbers).

Object numbers can be seen by enabling the column display Ordinal number in Design tree. To do this, you need to call the command of the same name from the button  menu in the header of the Tree panel. Sequence numbers are displayed in the lines of those objects that are subject to numbering. The numbers are also shown in the relations viewing area at the bottom of the Tree

When numbering objects, they are given numbers in the order in which they are located in the Tree, having the view of Design history.The origin of the coordinate system corresponds to the number 0. The next object is assigned the next number - 1, and so on.
Object numbers are always calculated in order. If the order of construction in the Tree changes as a result of adding, deleting, moving objects, the numbering is performed anew in accordance with the "new" Design history.
An example of object numbering is shown below. Figure a) shows the ordinal numbers of the Ferrule part objects, and figure b) shows the numbers of the Centering Table assembly. In the assembly, the objects created directly in it are numbered. The assembly origin has the number 0, Array by concentric grid :1 and Section:1 have numbers 1 and 2. The Ferrule component objects have and retain their own numbering.

If Tree has structure view, it is also possible to enable the display of ordinal numbers of objects.

If the display of ordinal numbers is enabled, they are taken into account when searching for objects in Model tree.
