If when creating model section, in the Method group, the Box  button is pressed, then the section of the model represents a box. The part of the model located outside the box is cut off.

Follow these steps to configure the box parameters.

1.Select the method for building the box using the relevant button in the Variant group:

By two vertices,

By center and vertex.

2.Configure the position of the box points. The position of the first point is set in the Starting point (1) group, while the position of the second point is set in the End Point (2).

The following methods can be used for configuring the position of the points.

•Enter coordinates in the Coordinates field.

•Specify a point object in the Design Tree or in the graphic range. The name of the selected object is displayed in the Snap point field. The point of the box is associated with a point object.

•Plotting a point. To do this, use the Plot Point button  to the right of the Snapping Point field. After this button is clicked the subprocess of plotting a point starts. After completing the process of building a point, the system will return to the process of creating a section.
The point construction process is used only to determine the position of the reference point; this does not create a new point.

After specifying the coordinates of one of the box points, its phantom appears in the graphic range.
