Opening model — source of copy objects |

The model, which is the source of copying, can be opened in a separate tab in the KOMPAS- 3D window. To do this, select the Copying object in the Model tree and call the Edit source 
command from the context menu. After calling the command, the copy source file will be opened or — if the file is missing — a message about its loss will appear. If the copy source model is already open, its tab will be activated.
You can view or edit the copy source. After saving the source file, the changes are transferred to the model containing copies according to the selected update option.

If the copy source is the current model (and not an external file), the Edit source command in the context menu of the Copying object is not available. |
