Minimum

•A processor that supports SSE2 and AVX instructions (AVX support is required if you plan to install the Advanced Proprietary Format Reader component).

•A graphics card that supports OpenGL 2.0

•The remaining parameters of the minimum computer configuration required to install and run KOMPAS-3D are determined by the minimum system requirements for the respective operating systems

Recommended for optimal performance

•A multi-core processor (4 cores or more) with a clock speed of 3 GHz or higher

•16 or 24 GB of RAM or more

You will need 24 GB or more if you plan to install the Materials and Assortments and Standard Parts components for KOMPAS.

•A graphics card with OpenGL 4.5 support, 4 GB of video memory or more, and a video memory bandwidth of 140 GB/s or more

•a monitor with a resolution of 1920x1080 pixels or higher

Recommended for working with large assemblies

•Multi-core processor (6 cores or more) with the highest possible clock speed (4 GHz or higher)

•64 GB of RAM or more

•A graphics card with OpenGL 4.5 support, 8 GB of video memory or more, and a video memory bandwidth of 240 GB/s or more

•Monitor with a resolution of 1920x1080 pixels or higher

•Solid-state drive (SSD) for the operating system, KOMPAS-3D, and KOMPAS document storage

Stable operation on integrated graphics cards is not guaranteed.

When selecting a configuration, keep in mind that computer requirements increase as the complexity of tasks increases (the detail of drawings, the complexity of assemblies).
