Selecting the right printer and configuring It |

KOMPAS-3D allows you to print documents to any external device supported by the operating system.
We will refer to a plotter or printer whose name appears in the list of available devices as "connected" or "available."

For information on how to connect a printer or plotter, refer to the documentation for your operating system and the output device you have. |
To select a plotter or printer for printing from the preview mode, use the Plotter/Printer settings command...

In the dialog box that appears, select the desired printer, configure the print settings, and confirm the settings.

You can select and configure a printer or plotter for printing from the preview in advance while working in the main window of KOMPAS-3D. To do this, select the command File — Set up Print Preview — Plotter/Printer Settings.... |
Please note that the selected device and its settings will be used by default for printing all types of documents from the preview mode during the current session in KOMPAS-3D.
To save the selected device and its settings for use in future sessions of KOMPAS-3D, use one of the following methods:
•Configure the plotter/printer settings in the operating system (keep in mind that the device and output settings will also be used when printing from other applications),
