Materials and Assortments, Standard parts for KOMPAS |

The "Materials and Assortments" and "Standard Products for KOMPAS" appendices are hereinafter referred to as the "Appendices" in this section.
Save any changes made to the database of materials, profiles, and standard products while working with a previous version of KOMPAS-3D. The procedure for saving varies depending on which version you were using:
•KOMPAS-3D v22 and later versions—you can save data entered in the Materials and Assortments and Standard parts for KOMPAS add-ons.
•KOMPAS-3D v21 and earlier versions—data entered into the Materials and Assortments library can be preserved.

If no changes have been made, there is no need to save the data. |
Before installing the Add-ons, make sure that no versions of the following products are installed on your computer (i.e., that they have been completely uninstalled):
•KOMPAS-3D,
•Standard parts referece 2014,
•2014 Materials and Assortments reference,
•Standard parts Library,
•Materials and Assortments Library,
•POLYNOM:MDM.
Installation
The add-ons are installed along with KOMPAS-3D if the Full installation type is selected in the installation dialog, or if the Materials and Assortments, Standard parts for KOMPAS option is selected in the list of components to be installed when the Custom installation type is chosen.
The following components must be installed for the Add-ons to install and run:
•Microsoft .NET Runtime 8.0.11;
•Microsoft ASP.NET Core Runtime 8.0.11;
•Microsoft .NET Desktop Runtime 8.0.11.
These are installed automatically when you install the Applications along with KOMPAS-3D.
If the Applications were not installed together with KOMPAS-3D, you can do so later by modifying the installation. Learn more…
