1.The Nesting add-on for solving material cutting tasks is included. The application provides the following features:
•Import of assemblies in KOMPAS-3D format with automatic generation of part contours for nesting.
•Taking into account the direction of the fibers (structure) of the material.
•Automatic creation and editing of a cutting map in accordance with the selected parameters.
•Assignment of waste material in manual and automatic modes.
•Calculation of material nesting efficiency.
•Formation of reports.
To use the Nesting application, a separately paid license is required.
2.The Composites application is included in the package. The application is intended for designing products from polymer composite materials (PCM) and includes the following commands:
•Package — creation of an object intended for placing layers of a composite product;
•Layer — creation of an object describing a structural element of a composite product;
•Layer group — creation a set of layers;
•Filler — creation of an object describing a volumetric structural element of a composite product;
•Navigator — a dialog box for the composition of a composite product, designed to manage the structure (adding, deleting, editing, moving and other operations on objects);
•Layers by link — creating layers by prototypes (based on other layers);
•Cut in layer - create cuts/cutouts on layers;
•Drapery - create a drapery grid on the layer, displaying red zones;
•Section view — plotting a flat section view of the composite product;
•Analysis at point — output information about the composition and properties of layers, at the specified point of the composite product;
•Flat pattern — create layer flat patterns;
•Layer export for projector — creation an export file for the projector to display layers;
•Control points export for projector — create a checkpoint export file for projector calibration;
•Layer table — report on layers and their properties;
•Settings — customizable application settings.
PCMs are selected from the Composite materials catalog of the Materials and Assortments for KOMPAS appendix or, when working as part of the ASCON solutions complex— from the corresponding POLYNOM:MDM reference.
A separately paid license is required for the Composites application.
3.The Photorealistic application is included in the composition, designed to create photorealistic images based on three-dimensional models built in KOMPAS-3D.
The application allows you to:
•Import a solid-state model from KOMPAS-3D into the Photorealistic application in two modes:
•one detail KOMPAS-3D — one detail (surface) in Photorealistic,
•one detail of the KOMPAS-3D composition of Photorealistic surfaces, each of which can be assigned a material with its own properties.
•Assign Photorealistic materials from the built—in library to surfaces - a set of textures and attributes that create a photorealistic image of the model.
•Save photorealistic images in various formats: png, tiff, jpeg.
A photorealistic image is created in real time.
The application invokes and runs as a separate program. To work, you must have KOMPAS-3D version 24 installed on your computer.
A paid license is not required to use the Photorealistic application.
