A KOMPAS-document can contain lines and hatches with library styles (including custom styles).
Lines whose style includes fragments are written to the resulting file as blocks. Lines with a style without fragments (solid or broken) can be recorded as ordinary geometric objects or as polylines, depending on the recording settings for line thickness. This setting is performed on the Properties page using the Account for line thickness options and Convert lines with a thickness greater than 2.11 mm to polylines. (see the section Line thickness setting). The line color transfer depends on the object color recording settings. The settings are performed on the Properties page using the Send Color option group (see the section Objects color settings).
Hatching area it is written as a similar object. Stripe hatch it is converted into a block containing segments. The line thickness recording setting does not apply to hatching. The transmission of the shading color depends on the settings for recording the colors of objects.
