To create a new style library, please do the following.

1.Depending on the type of objects the styles of which you will be working with, invoke one of the following commands from the menu Settings — Style Libraries.

Line Styles...,

Hatch Styles...,

Text Styles....

The style sets and libraries dialog will appear on the screen.

2.Press the Show Library button.

3.In the dialog box that appears, specify or create the folder where the new library will be located.

4.Enter the name of the new (yet–nonexistent) library and click Open.

The standard "Create New File" dialog box will appear on the screen.

5.In the prompt dialog box, click Yes.

The active preview window in the style dialog box will become blank because the new library is empty.

To create a new style set, please do the following.

1.Depending on the type of objects the styles of which you will be working with, open the menu Settings — Style Libraries and run one of the following commands:

Line Styles...,

Hatch Styles...,

Text Styles....

2.Press the Show set button .

3.In the dialog for working with style sets which appears on the screen, click the New... button.

4.In the dialog box that appears on the screen, enter the name of the set and click OK.

Both dialog boxes will close, the styles dialog box will stay on the screen. The active preview window in this dialog box will become blank because the new set is empty.

Using the Create button, you can create new styles in a library or in a set.

Using the buttons Copy and you can copy already existing styles to a library or set. To do that, open a source of the styles to copy (a library, a set or a document) in another window.
