Configuring the display of mass values |
Scroll |
You can specify the mass measurement units and the precision of the mass value display for use in the respective columns of the specification, for example, in the Mass column of the phased specification or in an additional Mass column.
If you want to change the mass display setting for a BOM document, call the command Settings — Parameters... — Current BOM — Display of values. In the dialog that appears, select the unit of mass measurement and specify the number of decimal places in the mass value.
The configuration of mass display for the subordinate mode of working with BOM items in the document is stored in the BOM description. To change the setting, run the command Management — BOM — BOM Descriptions and in the resulting dialog, in the current description line, select the mass unit and specify the number of decimal places in the mass value.
|
The specified number of decimal places is used only to display the mass value. That is, the mass value is constantly stored in the cell with the precision with which it was entered by the user or obtained from an attached document (drawing or model), while the value displayed in the cell is rounded as specified. |
After changing the mass unit, the values in the corresponding cells of the BOM table are recalculated.
Settings for displaying the mass values may vary in different documents, for example, in the BOM and documents attached to its items or in the document and in the BOM to which it is attached. In these cases, the mass will be recalculated.
