To create a user variable, do the following.
1.Click the Name cell of an empty row in the main section of the Variables toolbar.
2.Enter a variable name into the cell and press <Enter>.
The name of a variable may contain Latin letters (characters are case-sensitive), Arabic digits, and underline symbols ("_"). The variable name length is no more than 512 symbols. The first symbol in the variable name is a character or an underline. Examples of input: a, b_1.
In case of non-compliance with the name writing format, after pressing <Enter> a message stating that the variable name is invalid and the set name will not be saved will appear on the screen.
3.Click the Expression cell of the variable being created.
4.Set the method for assigning the variable value and press <Enter>. The value of a variable can be obtained with various methods. Details...
If invalid symbols were used while filling the Expression cell, after pressing <Enter> a message stating that there are syntax errors and the cell contents will not be saved will appear on the screen.

To set a value to a variable, a mathematical expression can be used. If a set expression contains variables missing in the document, they are automatically created in the main section. Set a method for assignment of values to these variables. |
After setting the method for assignment of the value of a variable, the calculated value will appear in the Value cell.
5.If necessary, enter a comment to the created variable into the Comments cell.
