All the configured parameters can be divided into two groups according to their action upon the objects of the current document, with two subgroups in each group. The number of subgroup to which a specific parameter belongs is indicated in descriptions of setup dialogs.

1.Document Parameters are parameters that cannot be managed during creation of objects.

1.1. Parameters which define external attributes of objects which should be identical for all objects of the given type existing in one document. Change of these parameters is applied to both already existing objects and newly created ones.

1.2. Parameters affecting availability of specific options during creation of objects. Change of these parameters does not affect the existing objects but affects the process of creation of new ones.

2.Object Parameters are parameters that can be managed during creation of objects.

2.1. Parameters defining the default values of the same-named object parameters. Their change leads to change in the default settings of new objects. The existing objects do not change. To change the value of parameters of this subgroup for the existing objects, edit these objects.

2.2. Similar to parameters of the previous subgroup, but has one distinction: once they have been changed, their new values are transferred to those of the existing objects which were created with the default values of respective parameters. All these objects are redrawn. The objects during creation or editing of which the values of parameters of this subgroup were changed manually, remain unchanged. To change these parameters for the objects, edit the objects.
