Multiline (base line shown by dotted line)
Multiline baseline – invisible line of a multiline whose vertices are set when creating a multiline and from which all other lines of the multiline are equidistantly constructed.
Multiline Baseline Segment – part of the baseline between adjacent vertices.
Multiline – composite geometric object consisting of sequentially connected linear, spline segments, arcs of circles and ellipses.
Multiline segment – part of a multiline, built on one baseline segment.
Multiline limiter – line connecting in a certain way the end points of the extreme lines of the end segment of a multiline.
Multiline Segment Separator – line connecting in a certain way the extreme lines of a multiline at the junction of segments.
Multiline width – distance between the extreme lines of the multiline, where the baseline is not considered the extreme line. The width of the multiline consisting of one line is 0.
Multiline type – set of the following multiline parameters:
•the number of lines and their parameters – offset from the baseline and style,
•type of multiline limiters and their parameters – height and line style.
Similar multilines – these are multilines having one type. However, the location of the vertices of the baseline, their number and segment separators in the same type lines can be different.
