The rotation axis is defined in the following ways:
•indication of an existing object,
•through building a construction axis,
•automatically.
Specifying an existing object.
The rotation axis can be:
•straight-line object — the object itself will be the axis,
•surface of rotation, except for the sphere – the axis will be the axis of rotation of the surface,
To select an existing object as an axis, click in the Axis field in the Main section of the Parameter Panel and select the desired object in the Design Tree or in the graphics area. The name of the selected object will appear in the field of the same name.
Construction of an auxiliary axis,
To build an auxiliary axis, press the Build axis 
button to the right of the Axis field. Will start axis creation process. Follow the plotting process and press the Create Object button. The system will return to the rotation operation process, the created axis will appear in the Design Tree and will automatically be selected as the rotation axis.

In the process of creating an axis, axis building commandsare available. You can build the axis using any of these commands. |
Automatically
The rotation axis can be determined automatically. To do this, it must be in the same sketch as the section of the element, and be a segment with the Axial style or a Centerline object. If necessary, the automatically selected axis can be changed using one of the methods described above.
