Text Location |
The group of buttons allows to select a method of placement of a brace. The following options are available: |
•Automatic — the text lines are positioned on the outside of the brace parallel to the brace; the text is automatically centered relative to the middle of the brace. |
On selection of one of the following options, a leader with the landing of a selected direction for the placement of a caption is formed: •To the right, •To the left, •Up, •Move Down. |
You can change the leader landing direction using one of the following methods. •To reverse landing direction, move the cursor to the right/left (if the landing is horizontal) or up/down (if the landing is vertical). •To rotate a landing, scroll the mouse wheel while holding down the <Ctrl>key. When the landing direction is changed, options for text placement on the landing are modified accordingly. |
Radius of rounding |
The field for setting the radius of rounding for a brace. If a radius of rounding is set at which the current brace length value is less than the minimum value (see below), then the brace length automatically takes this minimum value. |
Line Style |
The dropdown list allows to select the line style of a brace. The list of styles available for selection, as well as their sequence, is determined by the setting of the filter of lines made in the Curly Bracket — Line Filter subsection in the dialog for setting up the current document. |
Save Text |
The option allows to indicate whether it is required to save the text generated for the current brace. •If the option is enabled, then the current text will be offered by default for subsequent braces until the command stops. •If the option is disabled, then each subsequent brace is generated without text. |
The minimal length of the brace is calculated using the formula
L=4 · R/M, where
R is the brace radius of rounding,
M is the scale of the view where the brace is located.
If the brace is created in a view with the scale 1:1 or in a fragment, then L=4 · R.
The default method of placement of text – automatic or on the landing – is defined by the setup done at the Brace – General settings section, and the default radius of curve and distance from the text to the bracket – at the Brace – parametersbrace in the dialog of setting up the current document.
