The bill of materials, when converting to DXF or DWG format, is saved as a set of segments and texts. The thickness of line segments depends on the settings on the Properties page of the setup dialog box; the font and horizontal scaling depend on the settings on the Text page. The association of the special characters is configured on the Symbols page.
On the BOM sheet detailing page, you can configure how resulting objects will be placed in the AutoCAD document and how they will be merged into blocks.
To merge all segments and texts from one BOM sheet into a block, please enable the Write each sheet in a separate block setting. If this setting is disabled, the blocks are not created.
For multi-page bills of materials, you can set up placement in the AutoCAD document.
To ensure that the images of the BOM sheets are arranged in horizontal rows, enter a number greater than 1 in the Number of sheets in a row field. By default, this field contains a value of one, resulting in the sheets forming a vertical row.
To set a distance between images of BOM sheets, enter it into the Gap between sheets, mm. This distance will be applied both horizontally (between sheets in a row) and vertically (between rows if there are more than one).
