Some additional export settings are available on the Advanced page of the export settings dialog box.
•The option When exporting, set line style ByLayer for all objects controls the parameter Line Type of geometric objects obtained as a result of export:
•If the option is enabled,all lines are assigned the type ByLayer (ByLayer). You may want to export lines with By layer type if the data from the file are uploaded to a CNC machine.
•if this setting is disabled, the new line types depend on the styles of these lines in the source document.
•The option Export the background fill of the document as a WIPEOUT object controls saving the fill with the background color of the document. When this option is enabled, the fill is exported as Wipeout — a special AutoCAD object with properties similar to the background color fill. A Wipeout object may differ in shape from the original fill if it has a complex contour. The shape of the fill, on the contrary, is always identical to the shape of the source object.
If the setting is disabled, the fill is exported as gray fill.
•Enabling the option Save document image for preview allows you to display thumbnails of document images in Windows Explorer.
•The option Export fragment insertions to BlockReference manages the recording of multiple insertions of the same fragment. All the fragment inserts in the KOMPAS document become blocks in the resulting document:
•if this setting is enabled, all the instances of a block corresponding to the inserts of the same fragment would have common definition. This way you can complete the export faster, and reduce the size of the resulting file. This setting is recommended if the exported file has two or more inserts of the same fragment, especially if this fragment contains a large complex image.
•If this setting is disabled, each instance of the block will have its own definition.
