Detailing objects associated with views |

The source of literal or numerical designation in a view caption may be designation of a leader element, a line of cut, a view arrow, a unit, or a unit in section. That is possible if the view is related to one of these detailing objects. This link may be generated with two practices.
•Automatically:
•during automatic creation of a view, which is started after creation of a detailing object, for example, view arrows, line of cut, etc. — a view is linked to the designation of a detailing object for which it is created,
•during creation of an associative view, using the commands Cut/Section, Enlarged Detail, View in arrow direction – the required detailing object is selected during the process of creation of a view.
•Manually – in the view caption, a link to the designation of the required detailing object is created manually. The link can be created using the Reference button in the View caption group on the Parameter Panel during creation/editing the view parameters, and for the non-associative view also during editing the view caption as a text object.
Presence of links ensures compliance of designations of views and detailing objects in the drawing.
