Importing broken lines |
Scroll |
An imported DXF or DWG document may contain broken lines with individual thickness values defined for separate segments. A segment with a constant line thickness has rectangular shape; segment with variable line thickness has tapered shape.
Please select one of the three import methods, depending on the desired result:
•If the broken lines are selected, the segments of the broken lines will be transformed into a single contour,
•Each segment of the broken line will be transformed into a fill. The shape of the fill outlines will match the shape of each segment in the DXF/DWG file. The color of the fill will also match the source file.
•Segments of broken lines are converted to hatching. The hatch color and shape will match the color and shape of each segment in the DXF/DWG file. In the Parameters column, you can enter the Hatch pitch.
|
An outline around a fill or hatch is not created. |
|
Segments of broken lines thinner than 0.18 mm are converted to lines regardless of the setting. |
You can select the method of importing broken lines on the Properties page.
