Copying attributes together with objects |
Scroll |
Graphical objects are copied together with attributes. For example, when you drag-and-drop an object while holding pressed <Ctrl> button, object-copies being created automatically receive attributes which replicate attributes of corresponding source objects.
You can enable or disable copying of attributes when inserting an object from clipboard or performing symmetry, scaling, shift, rotation commands as well as during copying-by-clicking, copying along a curve or 2D linear pattern copying operations etc.
To do this, use Copy attributes option in the Attributes and Properties section of the Parameter Panel.
|
Attributes and Properties pane is displayed on the Parameter Panel if at least one of the selected objects has any attributes. If a command provides an option to delete the source object, that is, there is an option Delete Source Objects, then Attributes and Properties pane is displayed only when this option is disabled. |
Set the option Copy attributes if the object created through copy operation should have the same attributes as the source object.
If there is no need to copy the attributes, disable this option.
