The text editor KOMPAS-3D provides various possibilities for creating and editing different tables in both graphic and text documents.

In general, the methods of working with tables are identical. On text input into table cells, you can use all the methods of formatting described in section Working procedures. Parameters of formatting can also be set for a blank cell.

An existing table can be transformed: you can either add or delete columns and rows, split and merge cells, change the sizes and line styles for cells borders.

A created standard table (for example, the table of parameters for toothed gearwheel) can be saved into a separate file, and then inserted into new documents.
