When you enter the preview mode, the entire first sheet of the document is displayed on the screen. If you have selected several documents in the list of the documents to print, then the first sheet of the first document is displayed. All other sheets may be displayed entirely, partially or not at all if the scale of the print field is too large.

The current scale of the print field is indicated in the Current Scale field on the toolbar panel. You can set an arbitrary scale value in this field. To do that, please enter the value and press <Enter>.

You can change the display scale of the print field using the View menu commands.  Buttons for quick fetching some commands are located on the toolbar. See the table for description of commands.

Commands for scaling

Show All

Displays the entire print field on the screen.

Scale by selected sheets

Displays complete selected sheets in the maximum possible scale.

Zoom In by Marquee

Zoom in the selected area of the print field.

After you run this command, click the first corner of the marquee around the area you want to increase. Then move the mouse until the marquee reaches the desired size. A phantom of the marquee will be displayed on the screen.

After you set the second corner of the marquee, the image will be magnified so that the area of the marquee takes the whole window.

Zoom In

Zoom in the image. To zoom it, you can also press the <+> key on the numpad. You can modify the default scaling ratio in the editing settings dialog box.

Zoom Out

Zoom out image. To reduce it, you can also press the <-> key on the numpad. You can modify the default scaling ratio in the editing settings dialog box.

Previous Zoom

Return to the previous zoom setting of the print field.

Subsequent Zoom

Return to the subsequent zoom setting of the print field. This command is only available after you've used the "Previous Scale" command.

Shift

Using this command, you can shift the print field in the preview window. After you run this command, the shape of the mouse pointer will change. Hold down the mouse button and move the cursor. The print field will scroll following the movement of the mouse pointer. If the edge of the screen is reached and you need to push the print field even further, release the mouse button, move the cursor to the desired position, then click the left mouse button again and continue scrolling the working field.

If the entire print field fits within the preview window, the shift command won't be available.
