The text processor in KOMPAS-3D allows you to save and load text in blocks.
Procedure for writing a block of text into a file
1.Select the required text fragment.
2.Run the menu File – Save selected text...
command.
3.In the dialog that appears on the screen, specify the folder and file name for saving.
By default the block is saved into a KOMPAS-3D text document — a file with the extension kdw. If necessary, you can select the txt format for recording.
Procedure for inserting a text block from a file
1.Place the cursor where the text block needs to be inserted.
2.Call the menu Insert — Text...
command.
3.In the dialog that appears, specify the folder and the file name. Text can be loaded from files with the extensions *.kdw, *.txt, or *.rtf.
The text contained in the selected file will be inserted into the active document.
