Determination of the Flat Pattern Length by Specifying Bend Reduction |

The flat pattern length of the cylindrical part of the bend l is calculated according to a formula:
l = 2 · a - BD, where
BD (an abbreviation for Bend Deduction) — is the bend reduction, specified by the user;
a is a geometric parameter of the bend which is automatically defined by the system (see Table).

The full length of the flat pattern L when flattened is calculated according to a formula:
L = A' + B' – BD.
