When performing the capping operation, you can cap matching bends adjacent to the sides of the corner to be capped. To do this, enable the Continue option on the Parameters bar.
Example of corner capping with and without extension is shown in Figure.

Bend capping
a) original part, b) capping without extension, c) capping with extension
The capping extension is possible when the following requirements are met:
•for adjacent bends:
•radii and angles are equal pairwise (and also extension lengths when capping with overlay),
•lateral sides turned to the corner to be capped have no extensions,
•for adjoining bends:
•bends have no offset and/or relief,
•lateral sides turned to the corner to be capped have no extensions,
•bends are placed on edges in such a way that every bend starts from the edge vertex which is turned to the corner to be capped,
•when capping with overlay: radii, angles and lengths of extensions are equal pairwise.

Extension will be capped until the first pair of adjoining bends that do not meet the requirements. |
