When working in model documents, it may be necessary to know the distance or angle between vertices, edges, faces or solids, the length of a curve, the area of a face.

In KOMPAS-3D, it is possible to measure various geometric parameters and calculate the mass-inertia characteristics of the model (volume, weight, coordinates of the center of mass, axial and centrifugal moments of inertia).

The results of measurements of geometric parameters can be stored in the model as the values of variables.

You can adjust the CMP calculation accuracy and the areas of the faces in the model.
